Biography
Ramasamy Ganesan, popularly known as Gemini Ganesan, was a legendary Indian actor who primarily worked in Tamil cinema. Unlike many of his contemporaries, he carved a unique identity through romantic and family-oriented roles, earning the title "Kadhal Mannan." He made his breakthrough in the 1950s and went on to star in numerous critically acclaimed and commercially successful films. With his natural acting style, elegance, and charisma, Gemini Ganesan became one of the three pillars of Tamil cinema alongside M. G. Ramachandran and Sivaji Ganesan.
