Biography
Manjeri Narayanan Nambiar, popularly known as M. N. Nambiar, was a legendary Indian actor who predominantly worked in Tamil cinema. Beginning his career in theatre, he transitioned to films and became one of the most respected actors in South Indian cinema. Though renowned for his memorable villain roles, Nambiar also excelled in character and supporting roles. His commanding screen presence, distinctive voice, and versatile acting made him a favorite among audiences and filmmakers alike. Over a career spanning more than 60 years, he appeared in hundreds of films and shared the screen with legends such as M. G. Ramachandran, Sivaji Ganesan, Rajinikanth, and Kamal Haasan.
